  • Wash cold water only - keeps the embroidery crisp and colours true
  • Turn inside out before washing to protect the stitching
  • Use a gentle detergent - nothing harsh
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry - high heat is the enemy of good embroidery
  • If ironing is needed, never iron directly on the embroidery - iron inside out only

Do not:

  • Bleach (ever)
  • Dry clean
  • Iron the embroidered area directly

The stitching gets better with age. That's the whole point.
